Room with a view
If you have a beautiful view and you want to make the most of it then steer away from traditional windows such as a Sliding Sash and opt for something without any bars or multiple panes. This means nothing obstructs your view. This one we fitted is aluminium, lets in lots of light and frames the view nicely.
All of our windows offer protection from the elements but if recent bad weather has made you realise your home gets hit particularly hard, you might want to opt for Stormproof Casement windows. These windows feature a lip so the casing sits proud and slightly overlaps the window frame. As the name suggests, this design allows rain to run more easily off the window frame so they are very weather proof.
You might live in an older property and want to update your windows without sacrificing the character. This is something we specialise in and this recent timber window was handcrafted by us. It is a real focal point of the bedroom and creates a light, airy space.
If you’ve got a ground floor bedroom, take advantage of that and really open up the space with a French or bifold door. This can be great if it is a guest bedroom as your visitors will feel as though they are on holiday and have direct access to an outside space. Or simply use a large ceiling to floor window like this one to ensure great views from your bed!
If you’re replacing the windows to your child’s bedroom then safety, of course, is the top concern. Box Mock Sash Windows are a great option because they look traditional and classic while only have a top opening – meaning no big gaps for little people to get curious about.
