There aren’t just standard colours when you’re choosing your door or windows.
People are often surprised that, while you can of course pick your colour from a range in our catalogue, we can also colour match any colour of your choosing or any well- known brand. Though creams and light greens are most popular in the Yorkshire Dales,
we’ve also seen people go for royal blue on a cottage and it works really well.
The interior and exterior don’t have to be the same colour.
As well as our Timber products being made on-site here in Gargrave, they are also sprayed here, so we can paint the exterior of your door or window frame differently to the inside. Choosing warmer tones for the inside can give a really cosy feel.
The paint we use is really hard-wearing.
The RNLI use the same paint as we do to paint its boat stations! In fact, all of our materials are hard-wearing. Our Aluminium and uPVC doors and windows. come fitted with high-security locks and we use Accoya for most of our Timber products – a modified Timber which resists rot, is thermally efficient, defies the elements and lasts for decades.
Fitting new windows sounds messy but it doesn’t have to be.
All of our fitters are trained to the highest standard. We bring carpet protectors to each installation and we take our shoes off until that’s down. It’s such a small thing but nearly every customer says to us how nice the lads are and how tidy they have been.
“We used Carrs Windows Ltd to supply and fit our Barn porch addition. What a fantastic result, we’re really pleased with the work, very professional with great and courteous tradesman. Fantastic communication both before and during the fitting. What a difference it makes to the property!”
